High-temperature resistant tape for gold fingers, also known as Kapton tape or polyimide tape.

The following is a detailed description:

• Basic Information: Made with a polyimide film base, coated on one side with high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Available in two types: with or without a single-sided fluoroplastic release liner. Colors are mostly amber or brown.

• Performance Characteristics: Excellent high-temperature resistance; can be used continuously at 260℃, and can withstand short-term temperatures of 300℃ or even higher. After high-temperature use, it leaves no residue and does not deform the substrate. It also possesses good electrical insulation properties, chemical corrosion resistance, strong adhesion, and good mechanical properties. It also has good processability and meets environmental standards.

• Application Areas: In the electronics and electrical engineering industry, it can be used for insulation wrapping of H-class motors and transformer coils; in the circuit board manufacturing industry, it is suitable for SMT high-temperature protection and PCB gold finger protection; it can also be used for surface protection during high-temperature painting and sandblasting of metal materials.

• Storage conditions: It should be stored in an environment with a temperature of 10-30℃ and a relative humidity of 40-70%, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature (above 40℃) and high humidity (75%RH) environments. The shelf life is generally 6 months.
